We have done some leg work for you – here are some great Black Friday Flights from just $1/£1
AeroMexico
As we’re heading down to stay warm in Mexico this year, the AeroMexico Black Friday deals caught our attention.
Full details of the fares aren’t available yet, but we expect they will be a discount on the already reasonable prices like $314 from LAX – Mexico City round-trip.
We’re keeping a close eye on this one and you can too by setting fare alerts in Skyscanner.
Air New Zealand
The Kiwis, presumably still reeling from their humiliating Rugby World Cup exit to the English, have decided to maintain their friendship with the mother-country by offering £1 plus taxes on round-trip flights from sunny London to Los Angeles.
Important information: There are only 100 tickets £1 available. The deal will be available from 5am ET on November 29. Set an alarm or two and maybe try searching in Skyscanner as well as on the AirNZ website.
Note: after taxes are included fares come out at a still impressive £179 or a little under $200 USD.
You’ll find plenty of cheap flights to the land of the long white cloud which is great because it’s nearly summer in Kiwi, which is the perfect time to start planning an epic New Zealand road trip.
Finnair
The Finnish carrier Finnair has cheap flights to and from Europe and the US, and Asia.
Here’s a few sales which caught our eye:-
- Helsinki, Finland – NYC from just €429
- Helsinki – Los Angeles from just €499
- Helsinki – Miami – from €529
The sale comes just in time to explore cheap flights to experience Christmas in Finnish Lapland!
Fares are on sale until 2 December, so get in quick.
Icelandair
Icelandair Black Friday deals are now on sale from major US cities including Chicago, New York, Seattle and Washington, DC.
Flying with Icelandair is like a 2 for 1 special because you can fly via Reykjavik, spend a day or more seeing Iceland’s most iconic attractions along the Golden Circle, maybe ride an Icelandic horse through snowy fields, then continue your journey to one of Europe’s finest destinations.
Here’s a few cheap Black Friday airfares which caught our eye:-
- Chicago – Amsterdam from just $385 return
- Chicago – London (for some tea and scones please) from just $398 round-trip
- Boston – Iceland from $349 round-trip
- Seattle – Paris from just $499 return
All fares above are for economy class. Search for travel between January 9, 2020 and May 31, 2020 for the best deals.

Ryanair
We’re not sell-outs for spruiking the European budget airline – even though we slammed Ryanair in our review – because they are offering €9.99 which even we would consider.
In fairness, as long as you know what you’re getting yourself into by reading airline reviews before buying your tickets, flying no-frills airlines is a great way to save money.
So read our review, then once you know about all the sneaky fees, check out the Ryanair Black Friday sale and factor in the additional fees into your cost base.

Singapore Airlines
We’ve never had a bad flight with Singapore Airlines so we’re excited they are offering Black Friday specials until December 3.
Their sale covers Economy and Business class fares to a wide range of travel destinations around the world.
A few fares which piqued our interest were:-
- Los Angeles (LAX) to Tokyo (NRT) from just $499 (round-trip in coach), $999 (round-trip in Premium Economy) or $2,999 (business class)
- The beautiful but very rainy city of Seattle to the very colorful and exciting hub of Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Malaysia, round-trip from just $549 in economy or $3,399 in Business Class.
- Seattle – Manila (MNL) in the glorious Philippines where you enjoy spectacular waterfalls after swimming with whale sharks, snorkel with turtles and kayak some of the most epic lagoons in the world. The great news is round-trip fares start from just $549!
- New York (JFK) to Bangkok (BKK) and Phuket (HKT) in possibly our most frequented Asian country of Thailand from just $549 economy class. Swim at the beach where Leo famously filmed the movie, errr, The Beach – Maya Bay. Or maybe satisfy your cravings for Thai food with on your tour to some unique temples from Chiang Mai.
