Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater – If you are a fan of dinner with a show – this one is for you. Personally, ever since visiting Pigeon Forge we were big fans of a dinner and a show. This business is a local favorite as it was founded back in the 70s and has been popular ever since. It features a group of enthusiastic actors and musicians which have a true talent of entertaining the crowd.

Dave & Buster’s – Want a great place for a low key date with burgers and some drinks – Dave & Buster’s is the best place to go.

Mysteriously Yours Organic Restaurant & Theater – Love fresh organic food? Then this is the perfect place for you and your date. The restaurant are also known for putting on some cool shows on certain nights of the week.

Madera Drive-In – One of the most popular things to do for couples near Fresno. A drive in movie is always a winner. Maybe because it gives off total grease vibes! Just don’t pull a Danny and get too handsy on a first date. Never a good look. You can bring your own snacks or there is also a snack bar where you can order from. They give you a menu when you arrive.

Art Hop Downtown Fresno – This is a great place to go if you want something a little lighthearted on your date. While it is about art, it is also nice place to be to check out the beautiful buildings of downtown Fresno, eat from the multicultural food trucks and listen to live music. Note: Art Hop is a great date for a Thursday night as this is when it is on.

Bowlero Fresno – Seriously, who doesn’t enjoy bowling. Bowlero Fresno is hands down the best place to go bowling in Fresno. We went bowling on our first date and have been together ever since. If you are looking for a long lasting relationship to flourish, bowling is a win – take it from me.

Shizen Japanese Garden – a super romantic place to go for a stroll hand in hand during the day. Shinzen Japanese Garden was built as a sign of friendship for the Sister city of Fresno, Kochi. Don’t miss the spring blossom festival, it is truly magical. One of the most romantic places in Fresno. It only costs $5 to enter so it is a bit of a bargain.

Visit a winery – The city of Fresno is known for having some pretty good wineries. Some of the best wineries to visit for couples in the area include:

Engelmann Cellars – The tasting room is open every Saturday and Sunday making it a great weekend activity for couples in Fresno.
The Tasting Room – What is cool about this place is visitors can build their own red and white wines to sample.

Forestiere Underground Gardens – I’m a bit of a fan of anything weird and quirky so this place really hits the spot for me. If you want to take your date somewhere really interesting in the area, then this is the perfect spot! What makes this place cool is that it is an underground home of one man who purchased 80 acres of land and dug his home underground.

Note: this place is best for a weekend date as it is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
