8 Romantic Things to Do in Panama City Beach For Couples

Visit Shell Island

Shell Island, a stunning 7 mile barrier island, is undoubtedly one of the most popular things to do in Panama City Beach. Rather surprisingly, there are actually very few shells on Shell island but nonetheless it is a fabulous place to get better acquainted with nature as there is very little man-made development on the island.

From St Andrews Park it is possible to get a short boat shuttle service, known as the the Shell Island Shuttle, over to the island to spend half a day.

If you are on a honeymoon or a couples vacation, it is an amazing place to kick back for a relaxing afternoon in paradise. Due to the crystal clear water surrounding the island, it is one of the most popular spots in Florida for snorkeling. Keep an eye out on the horizon as you can often spot dolphins playing in the water from the beach.

Tip: Pack all the food and water you need for the day as there are no amenities on the island. There is also little to no shade on the island so you might like to bring an umbrella with you.

Enjoy Water-sports & Activities

One of the main reasons people choose to vacation in PCB is due to the amazing water-sports & activities the region has to offer.

It is possible to rent a pontoon boat or go on a snorkeling trip from this area of Florida. Some of the most popular options in the area include the evening sunset dolphin cruise, parasailing and paddle boarding. Hire a jetski for a more adrenaline pumping water activity.

Undoubedtly one of the best things to do for couples in Panama City Beach is taking a visit to the Panama City Beach winery. If you are a budget conscious traveler what is particularly nice about this winery is the fact that it is one of the few wineries in Florida that still offers free wine tasting.

Don’t miss the Key Lime wine, it is absolutely delicious. If you are a sweet wine drinker, there are also some awesome wine slushies to try out.
